Is it worth keeping boss souls ds3?

Each soul has 2 things you can create with it, so you're almost always guaranteed to find something you like. Plus, generic souls you get from consuming a boss souls aren't worth it. I've pretty much consumed all of them so far. Since the weapons haven't seen like they're worth it.

Is NG+ harder Dark Souls?
